Frequency
2-3 times per week is ideal for best results, but implement a schedule which fits your lifestyle. It is important to select your time based on convenience rather than a specific trainer everyone on the Gotham team is highly-qualified, so you will benefit from what each member has to offer.
If you're on a wait list for a specific time or if you wish to compliment privates, we recommend you participate in a group class. Remember; you must be injury-free to partake in any group session! For complete information on classes, please refer to the pilates class schedule.
Wardrobe
Wear comfortable clothing, but nothing too baggy. Shoes are not permitted - please remove them upon entering the studio. Socks that are not slippery are strongly suggested. Toesox and Toezies are available for purchase.
Studio Policies
- The studio is designed to accommodate 2 sessions at a time.
- Unless otherwise arranged, private sessions are 55 minutes and commence at 5 minutes after the hour. Suggested arrival time is the top of the hour to prepare your mind and body for your session or class if you arrive late, your session will finish at the scheduled time. Please be considerate of the session / class already in progress.
- * Sessions must be paid for in advance or on the day of your workout - please pay your trainer directly. Method of payment is cash or a check; in certain instances, a house account may be arranged.
- * No refunds, transfers or exchanges; prices are non-negotiable.
- Standing appointments with chronic no shows/ late cancels will be terminated. We cannot grant a standing appointment to clients who cancel or travel often.
- Please cancel your session within 24 hours to avoid a fee. This is strictly enforced as we do have a wait list. *A phone call, not an e-mail, is required for 24 hours or less, or you will be charged.
- Hours are by appointment only. Earliest morning time Monday-Friday is 7:00am, and last is at 7:00pm (6:00pm on Friday). Times depend on trainer availability.
- Booking your appointment in advance will significantly increase your chances of securing your preferred time.
- Standing appointments with chronic no shows/late cancels will be terminated. We cannot grant a standing appointment to clients who travel often.
- Health history forms are required and they will be reviewed each year.
- Unsupervised exercise is prohibited.
- Breathing, laughing and smiling IS permitted!

Have a home gym gathering dust? Laura can custom-design a home fitness program for you. Monthly/bi-monthly and quarterly meetings/sessions are available. At-home sessions are charged at the single session rate plus $30.00.
